Matthew began his appraisal career in the Kansas City metropolitan market, providing valuation services throughout both Missouri and Kansas across a twenty-county service area. This early experience exposed him to a broad range of neighborhoods, housing stock, market conditions, and valuation challenges, creating a strong foundation for the analytical approach that continues to guide his practice today.

After relocating to the St. Louis region, Matthew established Superior Appraisals as a trusted provider of residential valuation services throughout the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area. Over the years, he has built a reputation for thorough analysis, responsiveness, and professionally supported valuation conclusions. Experience includes a wide variety of residential property types, ranging from typical suburban homes to complex assignments involving acreage, unique improvements, estate settlements, divorce proceedings, PMI removal, pre-listing consultations, and other specialized valuation needs.

Prior to entering the appraisal profession, Matthew worked in the construction industry on both residential and commercial projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, and other large-scale developments. In addition, years of hands-on residential renovation experience provide valuable insight into construction quality, condition, functional utility, deferred maintenance, and the contributory value of property improvements.
